Mobile Phone’s have today become more than just a medium of communication. Today we take photos, videos and store our favorite music in our phones. Most phones need to have a memory card which stores all this data. Imagine loosing all these things because your phone isn’t working. Sometimes viruses infecting the phones software also corrupt the memory card. Thus making your ‘memories’ inaccessible. For example, you are transferring photos from your cell phone to your computer. The card doesn’t ‘open’ but the following message appears on the screen:

    Memory Card Corrupted”

    Cause:
There could be many reasons for this, some of the most common ones are:
    • Your phone may have had a virus which corrupted the card.
    • The card may have been removed from the reader while photos were still being transferred to the computer.
    • Continually saving and deleting files from the card when the memory is full.
    • If the card gets too full before you download them to your computer. This causes overwriting.
    Solutions:

There are numerous Photo Recovery Software available to help retrieve your photos. One must be careful to use only genuine and good quality softwares which will not further damage your photos. The software is installed in your computer. Once the memory card is attached to the computer (either directly or using a card reader), the software then runs a photo recovery which recovers the data on the memory card.

Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery is a fully featured software that ensures safe and quick recovery of all your lost data. The read-only tool supports most of the audio and video file formats. This Photo Recovery tool comes in two versions that support Microsoft Windows (Vista, XP, 2003, 2000 and NT) and Apple Mac (Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, 10.4 Tiger and 10.3.9 Panther) operating systems.
