    Aa Saheli tu bhi dekh Khoaya kaha woh bachpan hai

    Gorion ki shadi ka khail aur woh barish ka pani
    bheegty woh school ka jana ab bhi wahi anjuman hai

    yaad aayi mujh ko meri saari saheliyaan o meri aami
    lerty milty thy yehi ham wahi aks ka darpan hai

    baad berson k en galion se ayi hai mere bachpan ki Mahek
    aye diwaar gale laga lo enhi khushbo se mahekta aaj bhi woh chaman hai

    main ne khoya tha jo kabhi Mudaton ne mujhe milaya
    Aanso mery kehty hai yehi mera woh sacha jiwan hai

    Main banati thi jaha mitti k gharonde woh mitti bhi hai yehi
    titilioin k pichy hi guzer jata tha sara din hai

    O khala tum batao kaha gayi meri Saheli zarina
    O mamo tum batao kaha gayi meri Saheli Anisa
    unko bolaona dekho fir se aya Sufi ka bachpan hai

    Meri galion ki main thi rani aajaa saheli khailge bina fiker aur koi gham
    ab jawani ki qalaq se aami ne kerdiya derwaza bandh hai

    Koi Laota de mera bachpan aye kanwal kitna masoom tha woh
    Meri Goriyaan meri Saheli dhonta bhut aaj mera man hai
